Playground Games is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Forza Horizon team on a 12-month contract basis.

About the role:
As a Data Analyst part of the Data team, you will be working with the development team to deliver analytical analysis of player and system behaviour. You will be responsible for responding to analytic requests and supporting data visualisation dashboards.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced Data Analyst who is passionate about their craft, skilled in SQL/KQL and PowerBI, and has the track record to prove it.
This is a 12-month contract role based at our state-of-the-art facilities in Royal Leamington Spa. We have a hybrid work model in place with a minimum of 3 days a week in studio. Relocation assistance is available if required.
What you’ll do:
- Combine telemetry with game & system context to analyse engagement and performance across the title.
- Work alongside Design, Engineering, and Production to define metrics and build dashboards to support decision making.
- Identify opportunities to improve analytical workflows and performance visibility.
- Communicate effectively across all disciplines, turning noisy data into clear insights.
What you’ll bring:
- Analytical experience, with demonstrable professional work.
- Strong SQL or KQL skills and experience working with large datasets, finding patterns and correlations within complex data.
- Experience with PowerBI and/or similar reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker).
- Ability to communicate insights clearly and accurately to a range of stakeholders, including both what is supported by data, and what is still unclear.
- A background in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or another quantitative field.
- A genuine passion for video games.
- Experience within game or product analytics is a plus.
